Esteemed choreographer David Wilson enters the Skate Canada Hall of Fame in the Professional category.

Wilson is a master choreographer who manages the entire process of crafting a program – from searching for the perfect music to the end product of seeing the on-ice performance. Wilson believes “music plays an integral role for the skater, since it affects them and everyone who happens to hear it – a universal language that goes right inside you and chronicles the human spirit”. Through his work, Wilson attempts to showcase the very soul of the skater.

Wilson’s impressive list of programs includes those performed by Olympic and World champions and medalists in all figure skating disciplines like Shasha Cohen, Jeffrey Buttle, Yuna Kim, Patrick Chan, Yuzuru Hanyu, Pang Qing and Tong Jian, Sui Wening and Han Cong, and Marie-France Dubreuil and Patrice Lauzon.
