Skate Canada is the oldest and largest figure skating organization in the world who proudly governs the sport of figure skating in Canada. A member of the International Skating Union (ISU) and Canadian Olympic Committee (COC), Skate Canada oversees the rules and standards of figure skating in Canada while promoting the growth and development of our sport. From grassroots to high performance, we are committed to fostering a nation of skaters.

For over a century, Skate Canada has helped Canadians participate in the joy of skating. The largest skating instruction organization in the country, our more than 6,100 NCCP-certified coaches deliver learn-to-skate and skill development programs that enable athletes of all ages, ambitions, and abilities to find their footing on the ice. Our cross-Canada network features 10 sections, more than 1,100 skating clubs and schools, and a vibrant community of over 200,000 members, supported by 10,000 passionate volunteers.

In relentless pursuit of excellence, Skate Canada provides performance and financial support to Canada’s Junior and Senior National Figure Skating Team athletes to power their dreams of topping the podium. Our world-class skating competitions, including Skate Canada International, the Canadian National Skating Championships and Skate Canada Trophy, bring thousands of fans together each year to celebrate a shared love of sport and Canada’s figure skating talent. Â
