OTTAWA, ON (July 6, 2026) – Skate Canada is proud to announce the athletes and synchronized skating teams selected to its 2026-2027 National Team, featuring a mix of accomplished international medallists and emerging talent set to represent Canada throughout the upcoming season.

Returning to the National Team are several of Canada’s top competitors, including 2026 World pairs bronze medallists Lia Pereira and Trennt Michaud and reigning World synchronized skating champions Les Suprêmes. Among those joining the team for the first time are Canadian women’s bronze medallist Minsol Kwon and World Junior pairs champions Ava Kemp and Yohnatan Elizarov.

To be selected to the National Team, athletes must have finished among the top three in the senior men’s, women’s, pairs or ice dance disciplines at the 2026 Canadian National Skating Championships and/or be assigned to a 2026 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating event, and must be competing during the 2026-2027 season.

The synchronized skating National Team is comprised of the top three senior teams from the 2026 Canadian National Skating Championships.
