OTTAWA, ON (Oct. 20, 2026) – The 2026–2027 ISU Figure Skating Grand Prix Series kicks off this weekend in Angers, France, with the Grand Prix de France taking place from October 23–25. Two-time Canadian champion Gabrielle Daleman will be Canada’s sole representative at the event, competing in the women’s discipline as she returns to the Grand Prix circuit for the first time since the 2022–2023 season.

After overcoming injuries, Daleman made an impressive comeback last season, capturing silver at the 2026 Canadian National Skating Championships. She opened her 2026-2027 international season with a fifth-place finish at the Nepela Memorial last month and will look to build on that momentum as she returns to the Grand Prix stage in France.

The ISU Grand Prix Series features six events where senior skaters compete to earn points toward qualification for the ISU Grand Prix Final, taking place this December.
