OTTAWA, ON (Sept. 28, 2026) – Two Canadian ice dance teams will take to the ice in Ljubljana, Slovenia, from October 1–3 for the sixth stop of the ISU Figure Skating Junior Grand Prix Series (JGP). 

National silver medallists Charlie Anderson and Cayden Dawson will return to the JGP circuit after placing fourth in their opening event in Ankara, Türkiye. The duo earned two JGP medals during the 2025 series and will look to build on their season debut as they pursue a return to the podium in Ljubljana. 

The competition will also mark the Junior Grand Prix debut of 2025 Novice Ice Dance champions Annabelle Théroux and Rafael Gossard. After placing eighth at the 2026 NextGen Competition, the duo will take another step forward in their junior careers this week and gain valuable international experience in Slovenia.
