The season will kick off with the 2026 International Adult Figure Skating Competition, which will be held at Kal Tire Place in Vernon, B.C., from Sept. 16-19, 2026. The nation’s top skaters will go head-to-head with the best athletes from around the world at Prospera Place from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1, 2026. The full event line up will be announced later this summer.
After moving out west last season, the 2026–2027 Skate Canada Challenge is set to return to Winnipeg’s Seven Oaks Arena from Nov. 26-29, 2026. The event will serve as a qualifying competition for the Canadian National Skating Championships for junior and senior athletes alike.
The new year will start in exciting fashion for Canada’s junior and senior athletes, as figure skaters and synchronized skating teams will compete for national titles at the 2027 Canadian National Skating Championships. The Paramount Fine Foods Centre in Mississauga, Ont. will play host to this event for the third time, from Jan. 12-17, 2027.
Canada’s up-and-coming skaters will then take the ice at the Skate Canada Trophy, held for the second consecutive year at the RBC Centre in Dartmouth, N.S., from Feb. 4-7, 2027.
