Les Suprêmes Take Fourth World Title at 2026 ISU Synchronized Skating World Championships

Salzburg, Austria (April 11, 2026) — Les Suprêmes (Saint-Léonard, Que.) have done it again, taking home their fourth world title at the 2026 ISU Synchronized Skating World Championships in Salzburg, Austria on Saturday.

“We had a super great free skate,” said Les Suprêmes co-captain, Olivia Di Giandomenico. “We’re super proud of it and we attacked it. We really followed the music and let it carry us through.”

Despite placing fourth in the free program with 149.76 points, the team’s strong performance in the short program on Friday was enough to secure their title, beating out last year’s World Champions, the Helsinki Rockettes (Finland) and Team Haydenettes (USA) for gold with a total score of 233.00 points.

“Even though we had a little mistake, it didn’t matter, we kept pushing and it just was a great skate today,” Di Giandomenico added.

“It feels super great to be back on top,” said Julia Bernardo, also co-captain. “We worked super hard all year and all of the hard work paid off clearly, and we couldn’t be more proud of our team.”

National silver medallists Nova (Saint-Hubert, Que.) placed fifth in the free program with 141.55 points, and fifth overall with a season’s best total score of 217.50.

“We’re really proud,” said Lorie-Jane Dagnault, Nova co-captain. “That program means a lot to us, we’re really happy to show that today and to show this all season. Yeah, there were a couple of mistakes, but that’s part of the game.”

Team Haydenettes heads home with the silver medal, with a total score of 229.28, while Team Helsinki Rockettes are the world bronze medallists with 228.67 points.
