Canadian Teams Ready to Close Out the Season at ISU Synchronized Skating World Championships
Ottawa, ON (April 7, 2026) – Canada will be strongly represented at the 2026 ISU Synchronized Skating World Championships, taking place in Salzburg, Austria, from April 10-11, 2026, with two of the country’s top teams competing on the international stage.
Les Suprêmes, the reigning Canadian champions and three-time World Champions, will return to the World Championships with their sights set on reclaiming the title after a fourth place finish last season. The Quebec-based team enters the event undefeated, having captured gold at the Lumière Cup, Marie Lundmark Trophy, and Riga Amber Cup, establishing themselves as one of the leading contenders heading into the competition.
Joining them will be national silver medallists Nova, who earned a bronze medal earlier this season at the U.S. Synchronized Skating International Classic in Boston. The team brings valuable experience to the event, having finished fifth on two occasions at the World Championships.
Competition begins Friday, April 10, with the short program and concludes Saturday, April 11, with the free program. Additional details, including the schedule, livestream information, and results are available on the ISU website.
