Les Suprêmes Senior Reign Supreme at Marie Lundmark Trophy in Finland

TURKU, FINLAND (Feb. 8, 2026) — Quebec’s Les Suprêmes Senior are on top yet again after winning gold at the Marie Lundmark Trophy in Turku, Finland this past weekend—the final leg of the ISU Synchronized Skating Challenger Series.

The reigning national champions delivered a clean skate in the short program, scoring 84.61 points and securing the first overall ranking headed into the free program. Finland’s Helsinki Rockettes (83.04) and Unique (82.79) followed in second and third, respectively.

Ontario’s NEXXICE Senior (79.09) came into Sunday’s free program ranked fourth, with Quebec’s Nova Senior (74.77) not far behind in sixth.

In the free program, Les Suprêmes (153.61) delivered a personal best performance, coming second behind the Helsinki Rockettes (153.76), but not by much, which meant they held on to their top spot and that gold medal with an overall score of 238.22.

“We’re really happy with our performance today,” said co-captain Julia Bernardo. “We’ve been working on our interpretation since our last competition and some technical elements. We’re really happy with how it came out tonight.”

NEXXICE Senior (223.69) finished fourth overall, while Nova Senior finished sixth with an overall score of 217.45.

On the junior side, Les Suprêmes Junior also had a podium finish. They’re headed home to Canada with a silver medal in hand, managing to come from behind after fourth-place finish in the short program with 74.22 points.

They trailed a trio of Finnish teams; Helsinki Fintastic Junior (79.80), Valley Bay Synchro Junior (75.46) and Musketeers Junior (75.00), with Quebec’s Nova Junior in ninth with 57.81 points.

Les Suprêmes scored 131.72 in the free program, totaling 205.94 overall, securing second and a silver medal. Helsinki Fintastic Junior held on to the top spot, scoring 217.02 overall. Musketeers Junior took bronze with 201.90 points on the weekend.

“It was really amazing, we are so proud of ourselves,” said Les Suprêmes Junior co-captain Aliana Dell’Orefice. “We’ve come a long way since the last competition, we’ve improved a lot. It was so much fun. We attacked it and we just really showed what we can do.”

Nova Junior also managed to improve their standings in the free program, finishing eighth with a score of 117.75 and an overall score of 175.56.

“We were ready to attack our last long program of the season,” said Nova Junior co-captain, Elodie Fontaine after the competition. “We’re just so happy and we did what we wanted to do. We’re very proud of the improvement that we did this year and with this program.”
