Four Canadian Athletes to Compete at Final ISU Junior Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi
Ottawa, ON (Oct. 6, 2025) – Four skaters are making their way to Abu Dhabi, UAE, for the seventh and last stop of the Junior Grand Prix (JGP) series, taking place from Oct. 8-11, 2025. Athletes will represent Canada in the women’s, men’s, and ice dance categories.
Canada’s lone entry in the men’s event, Grayson Long will look to claim his second medal of the series in Abu Dhabi. The 2025 NextGen champion took home silver from the first JGP event in Latvia this August. He will be joined by Junior Grand Prix newcomer Reese Rose, who finished fifth in the women’s event at the 2025 Cranberry Cup International.
Rounding out the Canadian delegation will be ice dance team Olympia Kalaganis and Émile Deveau. The event will mark the duo’s debut in both the Junior Grand Prix series and in international competition.
