Gold and Bronze for Sadovsky and Gogolev at the 2025 Cranberry Cup

Norwood, United States (August 10, 2025) – Roman Sadovsky and Stephen Gogolev wrapped up the 2025 Cranberry Cup by winning the gold and bronze medals in the men’s competition on Sunday in Norwood, United States.  

Sitting fifth after the short program, Sadovsky, from Toronto (Ontario), delivered a strong free skate to finish first overall. He received a score of 168.47, bringing his total to 243.23 points and earning him a spot on the top step of the podium. For Sadovsky, it was his first senior international gold medal. 

“I’m really proud of my performances this weekend,” said Sadovsky as he left the ice. “I’m also happy to be able to continue on the momentum from last season, which ended just four months ago.” 

Stephen Gogolev claimed the bronze medal. The Toronto skater was 11th after the short program, but he was able to stand out in the free skate, earning 164.59 points. His total score of 231.81 propelled him into third place. 

“I wasn’t obviously really happy with my short program, but I recovered in the free skate,” said Gogolev after the event. “And overall, I’m very happy with the result.” 

Estonia’s Aleksandr Selevko finished between the two Canadian skaters, winning the silver medal with a total score of 235.70 points.
