OTTAWA, ON (February 26, 2025) – Skate Canada is pleased to announce the two synchronized skating teams that will be competing at the upcoming ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships, taking place in Helsinki, Finland, from April 4-5, 2025. 

Three-time world champions Les Suprêmes will lead Canada’s delegation after an impressive start to the season, where the team secured their second consecutive national title and won gold and silver medals at the U.S Synchronized Skating International Classic and 2025 Dresden Cup respectively. The Montreal-based team will close out the season by attempting to defend their world title for a fourth consecutive year.  

They will be accompanied by 2025 national silver medalists, Nova, also of Quebec. Nova will return to the world championships after finishing fifth in 2024 and following their recent gold medal win at the 2025 Lumière Cup.
