New NCCP Analyze Technical and Tactical Performance (ATTP) Course

Skate Canada has aligned the new NCCP National Coach program with LTAD core principles and philosophies at the high performance level. In partnership with the Skate Canada Newfoundland and Labrador Section, coaches who are interested in furthering their NCCP status as a National Coach are being offered an exclusive opportunity to attend the sport-specific training of this new program. Please note that the ATTP two-day course will replace the current NCCP Level 3 general subjects and technical discipline courses. Here’s an advanced opportunity to begin your journey as a National Coach in preparation for the 2016-2017 registration year.

The learning activities in this training will allow coaches to:

  • Analyze technical and tactical performance by observing and defining key factors that influence competitive performance
  • Analyze technical and tactical performance by applying the principles of motion to detect and correct key performance factors
  • Identify strategies to monitor and evaluate technical and tactical performance
  • Implement and assess the effectiveness of corrections
