Skate Lillooet is looking for a coach to begin in the fall of 2017.  We are a relatively small club and would be willing to share a coach with another club, as we have limited ice time.  Our season is late September to mid-March.

We would like a NCCP level 1 (or higher) coach, but we will work with the right candidate to help them achieve this certification.  Our club is willing to assist our coach financially with his or her training, in exchange for a multi-year contract.

We currently have approximately 75 skaters, with abilities ranging from Pre-Canskate to Starskate levels.  We have several skaters that would like to compete, and are searching for a coach who is willing and able to help them achieve this goal.

We require someone with excellent communication skills, who is willing to work closely with our executive board to help build our club.

The Smithers Figure Skating Club (SFSC) is seeking a Club Coach for the 2017/18 season and beyond. The season runs from September-March. The position, commencing in August 2017, will serve SFSC and its skating members in overseeing the operations of all Skating Club programs. This includes CanSkate, Pre-Juniors, StarSkate and CanPowerSkate. The applicant must be committed to maintaining and developing the current skating programs. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and coordination for the SFSC programs and coaching staff

  • Provide group and private lessons
  • Develop and coordinate promotion of all Club programs
  • Act as primary Coach Liaison for the Board of Directors
  • Prepare and/or revise skating program annually or as the need arises in co-operation with the Board
  • Strong communicatation skills and the ability to work with skaters and parents and board members
  • Provide leadership and coordination for special events such as Carnival, Club Competitions, local skating performances, Awards Banquet, and Guest Coach Seminars.

Connaught Skating Club, based in Richmond, B.C., is seeking a passionate, competitive, full-time Provincial Level Certified Coach or higher to add to its current coaching team.

With over 600 members and 100 StarSkate/Competitive athletes, Connaught is in need of a new full time staff member.   The position could start as early as Summer 2017 season.  Offering various group sessions and private lessons throughout the week, there is an adequate amount of work available to the successful candidate.

The Rocky Figure Skating Club is seeking a coach to join our current coaches and growing club. We are located in beautiful Rocky Mountain House, Alberta which is an hour west of Red Deer. Hafford Skating Club is seeking coaching for the 2017/18 season. Silver Wings Skating Club is seeking a qualified Skate Canada Coach to assume the role of Club Coach for the 2016-17 skating season.
