Arctic Edge Skating Club is seeking a Technical Director of Skating. Our club of approximately 300 skaters is situated in Whitehorse, Yukon. We offer Skate Canada CanSkate and StarSkate programs on 13-18 hours of ice per week from September to May with reduced hours in August.

The Technical Director of Skating will manage the strategic direction and day to day execution of all club programming and will provide leadership and supervision of coaching staff and volunteers. Currently, the position is a part-time contract position. The applicant must be registered with Skate Canada, and be Regional Coach Certified with an intent to achieve higher levels.

The Beaver Valley Skating Club in Fruitvale, BC is seeking a Team Coach for 2019/20 season and beyond. The season runs from September-May. The position includes both on ice and off ice private and group coaching opportunities in all figure skating disciplines.

Currently, the Club is a healthy, active skating club with over 95 skaters and 15+ hours of group and private ice per week. Fruitvale is a small community nestled in the Kootenay’s and close to Rossland’s famous Red Mountain for skiing, mountain biking and hiking.

The Golden Figure Skating Club is looking for a qualified and experienced Head Coach for the 2019/2020 skating season. Golden Figure Skating Club offers approximately 13-15 hrs of ice per week from September to mid March.

The Powell River Skating Club is seeking an adult synchronized skating coach starting December 10, 2018 to assist us in finishing the year, with a competition in January 2019, or to start in the 2019/2020 Skating season.

The Smithers Figure Skating Club (SFSC) is seeking a Director of Skating for the 2019/2020 season and beyond. This is a salaried position that includes both on ice and off ice duties in a 12 month contract. The skating season runs from late August-March.  The position, commencing in July 2019 or sooner will serve SFSC and its skating members in overseeing the operations of all Skating Club programs.

Director of Skating DevelopmentFull-time Position

The Burlington Skating Centre is a not-for-profit, Skate Canada sanctioned figure skating club, based out of Appleby Ice Centre in Burlington, Ontario. We are seeking an experienced, National Level Coach to lead the development of our StarSkate and Competitive skaters both on and off the ice.

Those applying for this full time-position should expect to spend the majority of their time on the ice teaching private and group lessons to existing club members.  The administrative aspects of the job include implementing programs that encourage growth of club membership and high proficiency in fundamental skating skills; complimentary off-ice programs, programs that assist our competitive skaters and regular program scheduling.

Proficiency in the following areas are an asset: Dartfish, harness, pole harness, stroking and edging. The successful candidate will provide mentorship and technical support to our existing coaches as well as develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders with Skate Canada and Skate Ontario.

Ryerson is seeking a candidate to serve as head coach of the figure skating program. The coach will work under the direction of the Varsity Operations Coordinator and is responsible for coaching, administration and development of the varsity competitive program.

Position: Skating Director – Club Coach

Prince of Wales Skating Club (POWSC) offers a full range of programs including CanPowerSkating , PreCanSkate, CanSkate, Synchronized Skating, STARSkate and Competitive Figure Skating.

The Club has approximately 1200 members and operates out of St. John’s, NL. The Prince of Wales Skating Club is seeking an experienced, organized, enthusiastic, highly motivated professional with a passion for skating who demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with children, parents, fellow coaches and the club executive to join the team as Skating Director.

This new position will work to create, implement and maintain high quality instructional skating programs which are consistent with the needs and interests of POWSC. The applicant must be committed to expanding and developing the current skating programs.

  • Prepare and/or revise skating program annually (on-ice and off-ice) in co-operation with the Board of Directors and coaching staff
