Figure skating fans will have the opportunity to celebrate figure skating excellence the week of April 7-11, 2008. The Canadian figure skaters who recently won medals at the 2008 ISU World Figure Skating Championships will be attending a congratulatory party at a BMO branch in their home community. The skaters attending the festivities will be meeting with local media, bank executives and the public to take pictures and sign autographs.

The first celebration will be taking place on April 8, 2008 at the BMO branch in Varennes, Qué. The event will be celebrating the success of Canadian pair team Jessica Dubé and Bryce Davison, who captured the 2008 World bronze medal.

On April 10, 2008, will be a celebration hosted for Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir, the reigning World dance silver medalists. The congratulatory party will take place at the BMO Oakbridge branch in London, Ont.

The final celebration, will take place at the Georgian Mall BMO branch, in Barrie Ont. April 11, 2008. This congratulatory party will be in honor of the recently crowned Men’s World Champion, Jeff Buttle.

Each celebration will be taking place between 4-5pm on the respective dates. Don’t miss your opportunity to celebrate with these great athletes!
