2003 World Ice Dance Champions and ten-time Canadian Champions Shae-Lynn Bourne and Victor Kraatz recently spent a busy few days in BC meeting young skating fans at several local figure skating clubs. Their first stop was at the Abbotsford Skating Club on Saturday, December 1 where approximately 60 skaters came out to skate with them and then were happy to get their autographs. Shae-Lynn and Victor followed this up with a special visit to the Hollyburn Country Club on Sunday, and finished their tour on Monday, December 3 at the SunSet Skating Club where the members where thrilled to meet them.

Honorary Chairs of the 2008 BMO Canadian Figure Skating Championships, Bourne and Kraatz, also found time to fit in other activities including an appearance at the Sardis BMO Financial Group branch opening on Saturday, and participation in the Paint a Skate festivities at the BC Sports Hall of Fame followed by a skating activity at the Grouse Mountain Ice Skating Pond.
