With the Cumulative Points Calculation (CPC) judging system implemented in 2003, known as the “ISU Judging System” (IJS) in international competitions, it is now easier to track the skaters’ performances and highlight the outstanding achievements.
Figure skating fans can now view the current Canadian records in the disciplines of singles, pairs, and ice dance, and its progression under the CPC judging system on Skate Canada’s website in the results section under “records” - www.skatecanada.ca/en/events_results/results/records/.
Please note that the scores in synchronized skating are not yet statistically comparable from season to season therefore a similar set of records has not yet been established for synchronized skating.
